What should a snow removal invoice include?

Identify your business, customer, service location, and visit dates or billing period. Describe the areas cleared, such as driveways, parking lots, or walkways, and list deicing charges separately when applicable.

For per-visit billing, enter the number of completed visits and the rate per visit. For an agreed seasonal installment, use a quantity of 1 and identify the installment and covered period. Include service dates in the job reference or notes.

Include an invoice number, payment due date, and payment instructions. Record a deposit or partial payment under “Amount paid” to show the remaining balance.

Snow Removal invoice questions

Is this snow removal invoice generator free?

Yes. Edit the example or start blank, then download a PDF without an account, credit card, or subscription.

Can I invoice per visit or for a seasonal installment?

Yes. For per-visit pricing, enter completed visits as the quantity. For a seasonal installment, use a quantity of 1 and describe the billing period or installment number. Match the description and amount to your customer agreement.

How do I show a deposit or partial payment?

Open “Tax, discount & amount paid” and enter the payment under “Amount paid.” The invoice subtracts it from the total to show the remaining balance.

Can I tax labor and materials differently?

This tool applies one tax rate to the subtotal after discount. It does not calculate separate tax treatments for individual lines. Check which charges are taxable for your work and location before using that calculation.

Does the tool save, send, or collect payment for my invoice?

No. Download your PDF before closing or reloading the page, then send it using your own email. Add payment instructions for your customer; the PDF does not collect online payments.
