What should a landscaping invoice include?
Identify your business and customer, the job site, and when the work was completed. Describe each service clearly, with quantities, rates, an invoice number, and a payment due date.
Separate labor from materials such as mulch, soil, plants, and pavers. Include delivery or debris removal as their own lines when you charge for them. For a fixed-price job, use a quantity of 1 and describe the completed scope.
Use “Job site & service date” when the property address differs from the customer's billing address. Record a deposit under “Amount paid” so the balance shows what is still owed.

How do I bill for labor and landscaping materials?
Add separate lines for each charge. Include the unit in the description, such as “Mulch — cubic yards” or “Planting — labor hours,” and enter the quantity and rate. For a flat project price, use a quantity of 1.
How do I show a deposit or partial payment?
Open “Tax, discount & amount paid” and enter the payment under “Amount paid.” The invoice subtracts it from the total to show the remaining balance.
Can I tax labor and materials differently?
This tool applies one tax rate to the subtotal after discount. It does not calculate separate tax treatments for individual lines. Check which charges are taxable for your work and location before using that calculation.
Does the tool save, send, or collect payment for my invoice?
